#Libra We come to the end of the second decan of Libra 12 October. The second decan, co-ruled by Venus & Saturn, is the time frame represented in Tarot by the Three of Swords.
Card meanings: severance, separation, loss, heart issues
This is This correlation only represents an ARCHETYPE, and not a prediction.
It may however, help a reader formulate a forecast in respect of future timing, when this card turns up in answer to the question, “when?”
Every human experience, both for good and ill, is represented by one of the 78 cards in a Tarot deck. My own natal sun sign 9 degrees Taurus is represented by another stinker in the tarot deck, The Five of Pentacles…AND just like the person in the picture, I have mobility problems owing to rheumatoid arthritis.
However, this does not mean to say every person born with that card- or any other card, will physically or literally embody the qualities of that card.
It doesn’t mean to suggest that someone born during the second decan of cardinal air sign Libra is condemned to the Three of Swords experience for a lifetime.
Nothing of the kind. But they may come to express the WISDOM contained in that card.
We all have our stories. The Three of Swords talks about severance and separation. Sorrows and disappointments are inevitable in life. There is no escaping this pain. We grieve as we need to, but the Three of Swords counsels total honesty, stepping back and taking stock, then moving forward with new hope, grace, self-reliance and fortitude, sadder now, very likely, but also wiser.
"For in much wisdom is much grief"- Ecclesiastes
The word LIBRA comes from the Latin meaning “pound”- signifying a pound in weight as measured on the scales.
We were never designed to simply chew the cud. The Scales rarely rest in perfect balance. Or only very briefly. Libra SEEKS balance, but Life is dynamic. Constant ups and downs. Perfect equilibrium would mean stagnation. Death.
This “Vale of tears.”
War. Earthquakes. Floods.
The Three of Swords could not be more tragically full-on in its real world manifestation and certain consequences, this Libra Season 2023.
But where there is life, there’s magic.
A bit of the Universe decided to get born as you.
Interesting about the word 'pound' and Libra. Thanks Katie-Ellen.
