Wednesday 7 February, Tarot and the Two of Pentacles.
The Tarot card I have drawn as a general collective comment and guidance card for today and tomorrow is the Two of Pentacles.
We are in the second decan of Aquarius, represented by the Six of Swords, heading to the New Moon in Aquarius on the 9th February. Still, we’re not quite there.
The Two of Pentacles is a Capricorn card, and it has been drawn on a day of a Capricorn Moon. Typical tarot synchronicity, though technically, the Two of Pentacles is the card of the first decan of Capricorn, while today's moon is 21 degrees Capricorn, correlating with Four Pentacles. However, the Tarot gets the first shout.
The Two of Pentacles is a card of bridging, managing, weighing and juggling priorities, responsibilities and resources. It shows coming and going. Commuting, relocating, working between two places, or between two homes or households. Balancing, weighing and juggling responsibilities, priorities, finances, moving money between accounts. Issues of time management. Needing to be two places at once.
The Two of Pentacles can refer to teaching, literacy and publishing. It also makes me think of Putin’s war on Ukraine, and that desperately contested “land bridge,” Crimea and the Kerch Bridge.
Today and tomorrow is likely to demand extra patience, planning, pacing, flexibility. We will do best with a low key, practical, circumspect approach. No dropping the ball, but likewise, no upping the ante. No forcing an issue. It's not indicative of a clear yes or no energy, this card. It's a "maybe later, but not yet, there are things that need sorting first," kind of message.

This is the Moon in the 23rd mansion- Capricorn 12.59 degrees-25.42 degrees.
Its name in Arabic is Al Sa'd al Bula, meaning “The lucky Swallower.” We could think of this as a hyena or a jackal, a clever scavenger, opportunist, or a glutton/greedy-guts.
This mansion of the moon is considered lucky in medicine, though recovery may be slow and difficult. It is also considered lucky for the release of captives. But this mansion of the Moon is not considered auspicious for instigating social contacts, ventures and events.
